Cold Brew Coffee and Cardamom Smoothie Bowl
Coffee and dates - wonderful.
Coffee and cardamom - a classic.
Coffee and blueberries - magnificent.
Add in fennel and you have just elevated your smoothie bowl to EPIC.
People will fall at your feet if you make this for them. Trust me.
Who wouldn’t want to start the day than with a bowl of EPIC?!
Chef Note: Cold brew coffee is less acidic that its hot brewed counterpart. If you are a coffee addict, then cold brew is a good substitute and easy to make at home. It’s worth hand cracking your green cardamom pods to make this as the difference between freshly hand cracked cardamom pods and cardamom powder is like night and day. You can use a mortar and pestle to hand crack them – or wrap them in a tea towel to contain them and give them a bash with a rolling pin.
